Hello there,I am Pooja Sharma
I am so excited n little nervous because this is my first guest designer post in itsy bitsy, today I am here to Share my project n experience about new launch product by itsy bitsy alcohol color spray I wants to share few things about these colors
1.They r alcohol ink n they dry fast
2.They r different from other water based spray n color splash
3.These ink can b blend with binder(which is also selling with them by itsy bitsy)
4.Use turpin oil not water if ur using them with brush,n try to wash quickly
5.These colors r glossy like solvent Base colours
6. They have shine too because they have micro gilter in side bottle
7.Always shake bottle before use so that all the sattled micro gilter can b mix well
8. Always keep cover them after use
9.U can use Spong for blending two colors to colour ur background
10.If ur using these inks directly on card stock instantly use blander spray this blender in made for blending alcohol inks like water spray we use with water base sprays for make colors light n blend
When I was starting to wrok with these colors first I wantedto know how they look on both black n white base so I have applied white n black gesso on a corrgrated sheet n used these colors on both base have a look
Here is the steps how I have made this
1.i have taken a ply wood piece size 9"/9.5"n cover it with canvas sheet u can use canvas board or any shadow box also available in itsy bitsy after that I applied gesso on this
9.now I stated colors I have used three shades of alcohol ink mid night blue,Citron breeze, marigold,I have spray midnight blue then blend colors by spray blender on this n use Spong also after that I have used other colors
As u can see in the above pic I have used three colors with blender one by one after that I have used some stamps n stencil for my background, add some flowers, washi tapes at the bottom, die cuts n some sequence for Shake n arranged them so here is the complete look of my card

Believe me they r glossy n beautiful you can see little shine on black
Now here is my creations which I have made with new gold alcohol inks splash n with itsy bitsy Craft supplies
Have a look
1.i have taken a ply wood piece size 9"/9.5"n cover it with canvas sheet u can use canvas board or any shadow box also available in itsy bitsy after that I applied gesso on this
2.I have used a window frame chipboard from new arrivals in the store then i drawn a out lining of the fream after place it on my canvas
3.After decided where to place this window n outline I have used my stencil on the remaining part on the canvas
4.cut corrgrated sheet in 3 different sizes first is 2", second is 1.5"n last 1" paste them all one by one on the top of the canvas little slant to make roof with glue gun
5.I cut 2 tharmacol piece in leaghth 9.5" n in width is almost 3/4" for both the side right n left to make pillar n one in of 3" n paste it in bottom
6.i have made stairs with corrgrated sheet by paste them like stair
7.I have cut a lone strip from corrgrated sheet to cover the bottom thermocol after that applied gesso then done stencil wrok on pillar, stairs,n the bottom strip for this I have used light paste from art basics
8.i have pasted all the the parts in place except window frame
10.I have used wildrose alcohol ink n marigold for my flowers sprayed both the ink on non sticky Sheet n pull up colors on the white cardstock I have used sigma cardstock then die cut them n given some embossed look with ball tool
11.i have applied white gesso on window frame n used marigold alcohol ink on the border n pasted it on it's place
12.Paste all the flowers on the top
13.Add some more emblishments like cycle chipboard, mirror, clock, Fran chip board for colors the cycle n Fran I have used gesso first then paint with wild rose ink n marigold ,black acrylic paint n give it little shine I have used pearl metallic gold
14. I have appied little gesso with dry brush to highlight the stone look n applied Pearl metallic gold with dry brush in some areas
15.At last made a little bird with air dry clay n put it on the top, add a stamp image of home sweet home n to give it complete look
I hope u like my wrok in this project I have used only alcohol ink for coloring mostly I am in love with them
I wants to share one more thing about the blending n create a background with these inks, u can spray little ink on Spong n then spray some amount of blender u can find dark to light shades when u apply this on paper u can see how I have used this technique in my layered Shaker card I have made with these inks have a look
It's all about ur mind n creativity how u wants to play with these colors I have done one more thing in my other creation
This time I simply spray blender first rather than the color it's gives a lighter tone
Have a look
So I have made these projects with only 4 shared with blender too
I enjoyed a lot to play with these inks,I will made other project with these fabulous alcohol inks n will share with u all
I hope u like my post n find it little information too
